July 2024 USPS Rate Increases
USPS raised rates twice in July:
- July 1st: Priority Mail & Ground Advantage
- July 14th: Media Mail & Signature Confirmation
July 1st Increases:
- Priority Mail
- Rates increased up to $3.10
- Secret Connect eCommerce rates for Weight-Based Priority Mail, Cubic, and Flat Rate also increased, with discounts reduced to 88%
- Ground Advantage
- Rates increased up to $2.11
- Maximum discount dropped to 86%, with Weight-Based Ground Advantage and Cubic services impacted
July 14th Increases:
- Media Mail
- Increased up to 56 cents depending on package weight
- Example: 1 lb package is $4.63 (up by 50 cents)
- Signature Confirmation
- Price went from $3.50 to $3.70, an increase of 20 cents
- Adult Signature remained at $9.35
