A few days ago, Walmart announced excellent news for all Canadian sellers. WFS service, which has become very popular in Walmart US, is going to be implemented for the Walmart Canada channel as well. The service is an Amazon FBA equivalent and allows sellers to store products in Walmart warehouses. Walmart also takes care of picking, packing, sending the item, and handling returns if there are any. Ultimately, all products enlisted to WFS will have a 2-day shipping badge assigned which can significantly increase the item conversion.
Currently, Walmart Canada WFS is available to sellers based in Canada. However, anybody can fill out this form to request access to Walmart Canada WFS. Most likely, the service will not be launched before the Holidays, but Walmart should onboard the first sellers at the beginning of next year.
