UPS to Implement 5.9% Rate Increase, starting on December 23, 2024

UPS is preparing to implement a 5.9% average rate increase starting on December 23, 2024. This increase affects ground, air, and international shipping services. It is similar to the 5.9% hike announced by FedEx, which will take effect two weeks later. UPS has made similar adjustments in the past.

While the 5.9% rate increase may seem modest compared to last year’s rise, it’s important to note that this is just an average.
