During the “Let’s Grow! 2024 Walmart Marketplace Seller Summit,” Walmart just announced several exciting new features aimed at boosting seller success on their platform. Below, I’ve highlighted the features that I’m most excited about for our GeekSeller users: Multichannel Logistics and Cross Border Fulfillment.
Multichannel Logistics
One of the most significant announcements is Walmart’s new Multichannel Solutions program. This feature allows sellers to use Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) to fulfill orders from any eCommerce site, not just Walmart. Walmart will handle everything from fulfillment to returns, providing fast, reliable shipping and plain, unbranded packaging. This service comes with competitive rates, averaging 15% lower than the competition.
Cross Border Fulfillment
Another game-changing feature is Walmart’s Cross Border Fulfillment service. This new import service enables WFS to handle the transportation of inbound goods from ports of origin in Asia directly to WFS facilities across the U.S. For sellers dealing with international suppliers, this simplifies the logistics process, ensuring that your products reach the U.S. market quickly and efficiently.
