In January 2024, the USPS is set to implement a series of price changes for its shipping and mailing services. Filed with the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) in late 2023, these changes include a 5.4% increase for USPS Ground Advantage™, a 5.7% rise in Priority Mail® service fees, and a 5.9% hike in Priority Mail Express® service costs. Additionally, Mailing Services will see a 2-cent increase in the price of a First-Class Mail® Forever® stamp, raising it from 66 cents to 68 cents. These adjustments, part of USPS’s “Delivering for America” 10-year plan, aim to address financial challenges and ensure service sustainability amid ongoing inflationary pressures.
