Walmart has initiated an extended returns policy for the holiday season, applicable to purchases made from October 1 to December 31, 2023, allowing returns until January 31, 2024, with few exclusions. Aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business, this policy is mandatory for sellers on Walmart’s platform, projecting a positive impact on sales conversions.
As announced in the September 2023 Walmart Marketplace Newsletter:
We’re giving your customers the gift of an extended holiday returns window
To help give customers more flexibility and satisfaction, we’re excited to offer extended returns for top-performing Walmart Marketplace products, and you’ve been opted in unless you’ve been informed otherwise. (This can help boost your conversion and drive repeat customers).
From October 1 through December 31, 2023, all items purchased in-store or online can be returned until January 31, 2024—excluding wireless phones, Walmart protection plans, AppleCare, precious metals, and select luxury items.
Well I was told by Josie from Walmart store 1862 . That they are no longer excepting holiday returns because their store is strict on excepting holiday returns and they stopped doing it on December 25th. she didn’t bother to look at my receipt or items. she said other Walmart stores are accepting holiday returns even when I told her that I processed my return on line and just had to show them the bar
Beatrice, I am sorry to hear about your experience. Perhaps try contacting the seller directly or reach out to Walmart online support. They should be able to assist you.
