EU to Eliminate €150 Duty-Free Threshold for Imports

There were two billion parcels under this limit arriving in 2023 in Europe, which put a huge strain on customs. As reported by Financial Times, the EU is set to impose customs duties on low-cost goods from Chinese online retailers like Temu, SHEIN, and AliExpress, scrapping the €150 duty-free threshold. I guess it’s just a matter of time before we see this coming to the US.
