Updates to Walmart’s Automatic Cancellation Policy (starting June 6, 2023)

Starting from June 6, Walmart is modifying its automatic cancellation window, reducing it from 6 days to 4 days post the Estimated Ship Date (ESD). In essence, sellers will have to provide valid tracking information to buyers by the ESD, and definitely no later than 4 calendar days post-ESD. Orders failing to comply with this will be automatically cancelled, potentially impacting sellers’ cancellation performance metrics.

Walmart’s Review Accelerator Program

Walmart has launched a new program called the Review Accelerator Program that encourages customers to leave feedback after purchasing a product on Walmart.com. Customers who purchase an item participating in the program will be asked to write an honest and accurate review in exchange for a digital reward for their next purchase on Walmart.com. Marketplace sellers who enroll their items in the program will be charged a $10 service fee per review.
