eBay Out-of-Stock Option

If you sell on eBay, you are most likely familiar with a Good ‘Til Cancelled (GTC) feature. For those who are not – in short – GTC is one of the options you can select when you create a new item. It creates a listing for the duration of 30 days at a fixed price. After 30 days, the listing is automatically renewed and published repeatedly until the seller decides to cancel or all of the items are sold. For every 30-day cycle, the seller is charged the applicable fee for listing renewal.

Walmart Phone Support for WFS Sellers

If you participate in Walmart WFS (Walmart Fulfillment Services) program and run into some issues, there’s good news. You can now contact Walmart not only via a support case through Walmart Seller Center but also call them to get immediate support. As for now, phone support is only available for WFS related categories and issues; other concerns have to be still addressed via support cases.

Amazon Address Verification

Amazon started sending emails to sellers requesting verification of their business address. The change was announced a few months ago as an improvement to ensure consistent seller information across the platform, so customers can make informed buying decisions. This way of displaying seller information was already in place for Amazon stores in Europe, Mexico, and Japan due to local policies. Now Amazon is sending the requests to 495,000 of its active Amazon.com sellers.

Walmart E-Commerce Marketplace Soon Available to Foreign Sellers

According to Walmart CEO Doug McMillon’s announcement, Walmart will begin opening its third-party marketplace to foreign sellers this month. Non-US vendors will no longer need a US-based warehouse and US tax number. Walmart will still have strict approval requirements for new sellers, but in general, this is excellent news for the foreign sellers who wanted to start selling on the marketplace.
