Amazon Holds 2025 Referral and FBA Fees Steady, Introduces New Benefits

Amazon has announced that for 2025, there will be no increases to U.S. referral and Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) fees, and no new fee types will be introduced. Additionally, some fees for large, bulky items will be reduced, and new benefits will be offered to support the growth of new selections.

2025 Fee Updates

  • Reduced Inbound Placement Fees: Effective January 15, 2025, inbound placement service fees for large bulky-size products will decrease by an average of $0.58 per unit for minimal shipment splits.
  • Fee Waivers for New ASINs: For shipments created between December 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025, the inbound placement service fee will be waived for up to 100 units per new parent ASIN that qualify for the FBA New Selection Program.
  • Enhanced Incentives for New Selections: Starting January 15, 2025, the New Seller Incentives and FBA New Selection programs will offer greater fee discounts to encourage the addition of new selections, especially everyday essentials, high-demand items with limited availability, and popular brands.
