Attending Amazon Accelerate 2024 has been an exciting opportunity to meet potential partners and our sellers. The energy here is incredible, with so many opportunities to network, learn, and explore the future of eCommerce. As the first day unfolded, I took the chance to wander around the event, checking out various booths and connecting with industry professionals. Here’s a quick recap of what I experienced on Day 1.
Exploring Amazon and Veeqo’s Interactive Swag Experience
One of the most creative ideas I came across was Amazon’s collaboration with Veeqo. They’ve set up an interactive booth where attendees can select their swag, print the shipping label, pack the items, and drop them off for shipment.
Networking with Finale Inventory and Amazon Teams
I was also excited to meet up with the team from Finale Inventory, with whom we share many sellers. It was great to connect in person and discuss ways we can continue supporting our mutual customers. Besides that, I had insightful conversations with teams from Amazon Shipping API, Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF), and Buy with Prime. Each of these services is crucial for streamlining the selling process, and it was valuable to hear about their latest developments.
Key Presentations: Amazon Business and Amazon Wallet
One of the standout sessions for me was the presentation on Amazon Business and Amazon Wallet. Although there were several presentations throughout the day, this one stood out due to its relevance to our sellers. Amazon Business continues to expand, offering unique opportunities for B2B sellers, while Amazon Wallet provides convenient, streamlined payment solutions that are set to enhance customer experience and seller efficiency.
A Scenic End to the Day
After a day filled with learning and networking, I wrapped up by taking a cruise to see Seattle from the water. It was the perfect way to relax and reflect on everything I’d learned, while also appreciating the beauty of the city. I’m looking forward to more exciting moments as Day 2 approaches, and I can’t wait to see what else is in store!
