Walmart is allowing international sellers to apply for the US marketplace again. This option was available about a year ago with a special application form, but Walmart disabled it, and for some time, there wasn’t any direct way for foreign sellers to apply. Now, with the new seller application method, Walmart has included an option to apply for sellers from China, India, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, and Mexico.

If your country is on the list mentioned above, you will not need a US company or tax ID to apply! Walmart will be adding more countries soon, so if you are not on the list, it is worth checking it once in a while. You can also sign up for our newsletter, or check our guide, as we will surely inform you about new countries added by Walmart.
Opening the marketplace to non-US vendors is a fantastic opportunity for abroad sellers to diversify their revenue streams and reach a vast, new customer base. The accommodation to the new marketplace might be challenging, especially in another country, but it is certainly worth the effort in the long run.
